Let’s Be Friends

The Friends of the Glencoe Public Library work with the Glencoe Public Library to create awareness of the many services the library offers to its diverse group of patrons.

The Friends strive to enhance the resources available, increase the community’s access to information and to provide a vibrant, cultural gathering place.

In addition, the Friends fundraise for the GPL and various library programs, as well as volunteer time to promote the library.

The Friends is a non-profit organization with established by-laws and designated officers. Join our circle of Friends today for an annual membership fee of $5 and you can help promote the library and pursue its mission to promote literacy, life-long learning and a love of reading.

“In a library we are surrounded by many hundreds of dear friends…”
– Ralph Waldo Emerson
